hungrycrocodile: Digital Photography This is a photograph of lichen in Finland. For those of you who don’t know, lichens are composed of two plants, usually a fungus and a plant that can do photosynthesis. From a distance, these little plants look like green fluffy clouds along on the forest floor. Reindeer love to eat this stuff. I was hoping I’d see one if I hung around enough, but sadly I did not.
